X

This was like seeing "The Decline of the Western Civilization", just 22 years later. The sound of X was just as we remember it from the record, Los Angeles to their Live at the Whiskey CD. Exene sings with heart of the scene in her throat while Billy Zoom plays a mean guitar, looking cool and Joe Doe keeps the rhythm going on bass. They ended their set with Devil Doll as a good size pit went off in front of the stage.
The Buzzcocks

This was a group that many of the old time punkers thought they would never see again. With pogo'in being the preferred dance for this act, the crowd liked hearing this band that keeps it simple. With only 1 amp and 1 head for each guitar and the bass the sound was jast as clear and clean as if they had a stage cluttered up with a bunch of equipment. They played their classics, "Orgasmattic" and "What Do I Get".
